Biometrics, Identity, and Security
Since 2014, I have been doing applied research in biometric systems for aviation security at SAIC. As the Technical Director of the SAIC Identity and Data Sciences Laboratories (Maryland Test Facility), I design and carry out large scale scenario evaluations of biometric and identity technologies. These evaluations measure how well technologies work for different people and in different environments.

Neuroscience
I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior from Columbia University. I have a strong publication record in the field from my days in Academia. My expertise is in brain hemodynamics, vision, and olfaction. I keep up with the field by consulting on research projects.
Management
Throughout my career, I have managed and mentored students and co-workers. I currently manage a diverse team of scientists and engineers. As a manager, I understand that success requires effective collaboration.
