Since 2014, I have been doing applied research in biometric systems for aviation security at SAIC. As the Principal Investigator at the Maryland Test Facility. I design and carry out large scale scenario evaluations of biometric technologies. These evaluations measure how well technologies work for different people and in different environments.
I hold a PhD in Neurobiology and Behavior from Columbia University. I have a strong publication record in the field from my days in Academia. My expertise is in brain hemodynamics, vision, and olfaction. I keep up with the field by consulting on research projects.
